Impressive brass key fob of polished and matte finished brass with a cloisonné enamel* Fighting Bee. The Fighting bee has three colors of inlaid enamel with amazing detail. The study split ring will hold your keys securely. The polished back (see illustration) has a large area is suitable for engraving with your name or a personalized message (Sorry, we do not engrave but you can have this done locally by a jeweler).

The fob measures 1 1/8-inches high by 1 1/2-inches wide. The 1 /18-inch brass split ring is held firmly with a rotating post.

* Cloisonné is an ancient technique for decorating metal objects. Fine metal wires are attached to the surface to form the design. These wits remain visible in the finished piece. Within the compartments formed by the wires colored enamel is hand applied. The decorated piece is then fired in a kiln and the enamel takes on a glass-like texture. The piece is then ground smooth using the same type of equipment used to polish fine gemstones.
